Raiders Beaten by Jets, 37-27

Marcel Reece established the ground game, but it wasn't enough to avoid a tough loss for the Raiders against the Jets, 37-27, in East Rutherford.

Matt McGloin found pay dirt two times on 18 of 31 passing for 245 yards and one pick. Geno Smith completed 16 of 25 passes for 219 yards, two touchdowns (1 pass, 1 rush) and one pick for the Jets.

Reece was a key factor for the Raiders, rushing for 123 yards on 19 carries with a touchdown and had two receptions for 38 yards. In the third quarter, he made the most of an opening for a 63-yard score. Rod Streater was a top performer, snagging seven balls for 130 yards with a score.

The Oakland defense surrendered 143 yards rushing and 219 passing. They tackled Smith for a sack.

Jets running back Chris Ivory put up 76 yards rushing and one touchdown. After Smith, he was the top player for New York.

Next week, the Raiders host the Chiefs (10-3) while the Jets head to Charlotte to face the Panthers (9-3).
