Nikola Vucevic gets double-double, Magic beat 76ers
Nikola Vucevic earned his 9th double-double this season, scoring 21 points and registering 16 rebounds, to help the Orlando Magic defeat the Philadelphia 76ers, 105-94. Orlando (6-9) has won just 3 of their last 10 games.
Vucevic finished 10-13, in a solid outing. He registered 5 assists and 3 blocks as well. Orlando also got solid performances from Glen Davis with 19 points and 5 rebounds, Victor Oladipo with 18 points and 5 steals, and Andrew Nicholson with 11 points and 5 rebounds. Thaddeus Young had another strong performance off the bench for Philadelphia despite the loss, scoring 26 points on 9-15 shooting (2-3 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 6-11 from the free throw line. He also added 8 rebounds. Evan Turner contributed 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Philadelphia (6-10) has now lost back-to-back games after falling to Indiana on Saturday.
