NHL, union have no official meetings scheduled

Representatives of the NHL and the NHL Players Association are expected to speak to each other over the next few days, but no official bargaining session has been scheduled, according to ProHockeyTalk.com.

Officials from the two sides are expected to talk by phone either Sunday or Monday, although whether that will move the process forward remains to be seen.

The NHL has canceled all games through Dec. 14 and the 2013 All-Star Game.
