Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang, who has already missed two games, will also miss Sunday's game and perhaps more after being placed on the injured reserve list by the team on Sunday.
Letang has a lower body injury, and his placement on the IR is retroactive to last Tuesday.
The Penguins have called up 2011 first-round pick Joe Morrow to take Letang's place.
Letang is eligible to return for Wednesday's game against Ottawa. Letang has three goals and six assists in 10 games this season.
