Dec 30 (The Sports Xchange) - New York Rangers defenseman Marc Staal said after Monday's practice that he is ready to return after missing three weeks because of a concussion. The Rangers visit the Florida Panthers on Tuesday. Staal was injured during the Rangers' Dec. 7 game against the New Jersey Devils when he took a hit from Devils forward Reid Boucher. Staal has two goals and one assist in 30 games this season. Also, defenseman Anton Stralman (wrist) is questionable for Tuesday's game. He missed Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. - - Colorado Avalanche winger P.A. Parenteau will be sidelined about six weeks with an undisclosed injury, according to Colorado head coach Patrick Roy. The Denver Post reported that an MRI indicated Parenteau suffered a second-degree strain of his MCL in his knee. Parenteau, 30, has nine goals and 15 assists in 38 games. - - Chicago Blackhawks winger Patrick Sharp, Buffalo Sabres goalie Ryan Miller and Pittsburgh Penguins winger James Neal were named the NHL's "Three Stars" for the week, the league announced.
