Nov 6 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Wednesday's National Hockey League games.
Rangers 5, Penguins 1
Center Brian Boyle scored his first goal of the season and goaltender Henrik Lundqvist made 28 saves as the New York Rangers defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Defenseman Ryan McDonagh and forwards Ryan Callahan, Derick Brassard and Derek Stepan also scored for the Rangers, who have won four of five.
Defenseman Kris Letang scored the Penguins' lone goal while goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 20 of 25 shots.
The loss snapped the Penguins' four-game win streak.
Blackhawks 4, Jets
Captain Jonathan Toews and right wing Patrick Kane scored in the closing minutes of the first period and rookie center Brandon Pirri gave Chicago a 3-0 lead as the Blackhawks (10-2-4) beat the Jets.
It was their fourth win in five games and the Blackhawks are 7-1-3 in their last 11.
Winnipeg (6-9-2) dropped their third game in the past six and fell to 3-6-2 in their past 11 contests.

Ducks 5, Coyotes 2
Right winger Corey Perry's goal with two seconds remaining in the second period was the turning point as the Anaheim Ducks rallied for a victory over the Phoenix Coyotes.
Perry's goal broke a 2-2 tie and was his team-leading 10th of the season.
Defenseman Cam Fowler added a third-period goal and center Andrew Cogliano capped the scoring with an empty-netter in the final minute for the Ducks (13-3-1), who snapped the Coyotes' (11-4-2) five-game winning streak.
Anaheim has won six of its past seven games.

Predators 6, Avalanche 4
Center Colin Wilson scored two goals and added two assists and left winger Viktor Stalberg scored a goal and an assist as the Nashville Predators prevented Colorado from joining NHL history.
The Avalanche (12-2) fell a game short of matching the 2007-08 Ottawa Senators and set a franchise record for the best 14-game start in league history.
Colorado's Matt Duchene netted his 10th goal of the season to tie the game 4-4 in the third but Nashville answered with scores by Colin Wilson and Gabriel Bourque. (Editing by Peter Rutherford/Patrick Johnston)
