In this document, Luther Davis is shown on a recruiting itinerary for NFL talent agency Allegiant Athletic Agency (known commonly as A3). The trip was confirmed by A3 agent Isaac Conner. It took the agent, Davis and two lawyers from Conner’s law firm – Andre Johnson and Ronald Stewart – to Starkville, Miss., and Gulf Shores, Ala., to meet a handful of potential draft picks.
Conner said Davis introduced him to three players on the trip, which took place in the summer of 2012: Alabama offensive tackle D.J. Fluker, who was heading into his junior season; Mississippi State wideout Chad Bumphis, who was heading into his senior season; and Mississippi State defensive tackle Josh Boyd, who was also heading into his senior season. Two players were listed on the itinerary but did not meet with A3 – Alabama defensive tackle Ed Stinson and Mississippi State cornerback Johnthan Banks.
Conner told Yahoo Sports A3 did not pay Davis or take part in any benefits given to college players. However, Conner said both Fluker and Bumphis identified Davis as the man who was handling their agent search process.
