Dec 24 (The Sports Xchange) - New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony's availability for the Christmas Day game against the Oklahoma City Thunder will be a game-time decision, coach Mike Woodson said. The Knicks star left Monday night's win against the Orlando Magic with a sprained ankle. "We got to weigh it out," Woodson said Tuesday on ESPN Radio. "He came in and got treatment today and he'll get treatment through probably the evening and then tomorrow when he wakes up and comes in we'll have to assess it at that time." The Knicks already ruled out starting point guard Raymond Felton, who strained his right groin against Orlando. Woodson said Felton is day-to-day. New York could have power forward Kenyon Martin back after he missed five games with a strained abdominal muscle. - - Brooklyn Nets forward Paul Pierce was fined $15,000 by the NBA for "excessive and unnecessary contact" in Monday's loss to the Indiana Pacers. Pierce executed a professional-wrestling style clothesline of guard George Hill during Brooklyn's 103-86 home loss. Pierce was 0-for-7 shooting and did not speak after the game. Pierce was assessed a Flagrant Foul 2 and ejected in the third quarter. - - The Memphis Grizzlies signed guard Seth Curry of the NBA Development League's Santa Cruz Warriors, the team announced. Curry (6-foot-1, 180 pounds) comes to Memphis after averaging 21.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.58 steals on .439 shooting in 12 games for Santa Cruz this season. Curry went undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft following his senior season at Duke.
