Washington Nationals star Bryce Harper exited Monday's game at Dodger Stadium after he was injured when hitting the right field wall in the fifth inning.
Harper ran into the fence and suffered a throat laceration after his necklace chain got caught.
He left the game under his own power, with his neck bleeding. Earlier in the game, Harper had a single and two walks, and he scored two runs.
The reigning National League Rookie of the Year, Harper is hitting .303 with a .400 on-base percentage, a .622 slugging percentage, 10 homers and 21 RBIs in 35 games.
