127: The track-record number of caution laps in the Oct. 21, 2007 Subway 500 at Martinsville Speedway, a race that also produced a record 21 cautions. Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers claimed 11 of the top 13 finishing positions that afternoon in the first Martinsville race that concluded with a green-white-checkered-flag finish (506 laps instead of the posted 500). Jimmie Johnson won the race and went on to win his second straight series championship. Coincidentally, 127 also is the number of Cup races run at Martinsville, dating to Red Byron's victory in the first event in 1949.
