Munich, Sergio Aguero lead AP soccer poll

LONDON (AP) -- Bayern Munich's resounding victory over Borussia Dortmund has given it the top spot in The Associated Press' global soccer poll. Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero is first in the player vote.

City is second in the club rankings with 178 points after thrashing Tottenham 6-0. Bayern's leads with 205 points. Atletico Madrid is third after its 7-0 rout of Getafe.

Cristiano Ronaldo is second in the player poll. He carried Portugal to the World Cup with four goals in the two-leg playoff against Sweden and opened the scoring in Real Madrid's 5-0 win over Almeria on Saturday.

Madrid is fourth in the club rankings.
