Minnesota's leading receiver, A.J. Barker, announced on his Twitter account that he's leaving the program, and he had some harsh words for coach Jerry Kill as well.
Barker, a walk-on with one year of eligibility remaining, missed the past three games with an ankle injury, and apparently he will not play in the team's final game against Michigan State or in its bowl game.
According to College FootballTalk.com, Barker tweeted, "Well, its official. I am done playing football for the University of Minnesota and I will be looking to transfer next season for my final yr."
In a blog post, according to the report, Baker accused Kill of, among other things, a "pathetic, manipulative display of rage and love."
Barker had 30 catches for 577 yards and seven touchdowns this season.
