Miles Plumlee gets double-double, Suns easily get by Lakers

Eric Bledsoe put up 16 points and registered 11 rebounds and 7 assists in a complete effort to lead the Phoenix Suns to a blowout victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, 117-90. Phoenix (17-10) is now on a three-game winning streak.

Bledsoe went 5-10 from the field and 5-5 from the free throw line. Other key performers for Phoenix were Miles Plumlee with 17 points and 20 rebounds, and Goran Dragic with 12 points and 7 assists. On 6-17 shooting (2-6 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 5-5 from the free throw line, Nick Young scored 19 points off the bench for Los Angeles in the loss. Xavier Henry chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds.

The Lakers had an eFG% of just 40.7% while also posting an OR% of 14.0. They are 1-3 this season in games when they drop below 45% and 20% in those respective offensive factors. On the other hand, the Suns are 1-0 when limiting their opponents to those numbers or worse.

This drops Los Angeles (13-15) to 0-2 versus Phoenix on the season.

Coming up, the Suns square off with the Golden State Warriors, who are 16-13 on the season. The Lakers match up against the Miami Heat, currently sitting at 21-6 this year. The Suns have a 1-0 record against Golden State this season.
