Mikael Samuelsson: Sidelined by Finger Injury

RotoWire.com Staff

Update: Samuelsson is dealing with a non-displaced fractured finger that will sideline him a minimum of two weeks, Helen St. James of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Recommendation: Samuelsson was forced out of Tuesday's game against the Predators after being hit in the left hand with a shot during the Wings' morning skate. Samuelsson, who had just returned to the fold Sunday after missing 12 games with a groin injury, was slated to see action on the team's top power play unit, but instead he was replaced in the Wings' lineup on Tuesday by Patrick Eaves.
