Losing 10 starters off the top total defense in the nation isn't exactly the recipe for a top-five crew the follow year, but one Rivals.com analyst doesn't rule it out.

Mike Farrell has the Wolverines among his best handful for fall. He says it's simple: "Don Brown, the best in the business, has some amazing young talent to work with."

Farrell then goes on to list players such as sophomore defensive end Rashan Gary, fifth-year senior defensive tackle Maurice Hurst Jr., and a host of younger challengers and newcomers who will bolster the ranks.

The analyst's top four defenses consists of Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State and Florida State. Here's what he has to say about them all.
