Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s received good news on his right hand after visiting a hospital following his win over Robert Guerrero on Saturday night, and will be able to fight again Sept. 14 as scheduled.
"He went to the hospital [Saturday] night and everything is fine," Mayweather's publicist, Kelly Swanson, told ESPN.com. "He just experienced some soreness."
Mayweather (44-0, 26 KOs) said he hurt his hand in the eighth round.
He is scheduled to fight Sept. 14 in the second pay-per-view bout of his 30-month, six-fight deal with Showtime/CBS, though his opponent hasn't been determined.
