The Dallas Mavericks' suspension of Delonte West lasted one day.
The guard was reinstated to the team after meeting Tuesday with coach Rick Carlisle and president of basketball operations Donnie Nelson, according to multiple media reports.
"Delonte West will be back with the team (Wednesday) for shootaround and be available for (Wednesday) night's game vs. Phoenix," Carlisle said, according to the Dallas Morning News.
West had been suspended for conduct detrimental to the team, Carlisle told reporters earlier Tuesday.
Though the coach didn't cite a reason, reported that the punishment stemmed from a locker room outburst following the Mavericks' preseason win Monday. According to the Morning News, West at one point sat separated from the rest of the team on the bench during a timeout.
An eight-year veteran, West has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. That condition contributed to a September 2009 arrest on weapons charges, an incident that led a 10-game suspension from the NBA.
West averaged 9.6 points and 3.2 assists last season for the Mavs.
