Marrone to interview with Bills, Browns
Syracuse coach Doug Marrone will interview for the vacant heading coaching jobs with the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns, according to ESPN.
Marrone is 25-25 at Syracuse in four seasons, but the Orange won just 26 games in seven previous seasons. Marrone also has NFL coaching experience. He was a position coach with the New York Jets from 2002-05 and offensive coordinator of the New Orleans Saints from 2006-08.
The Browns have also been rumored to have interest in Alabama's Nick Saban, Oregon's Chip Kelly and Penn State's Bill O'Brien.
New Browns owner Jimmy Haslam fired coach Pat Shurmur and general manager Tom Heckert on Monday after the team concluded a 5-11 season.
