BUIES CREEK, N.C. (AP) -- Chuckie Looney threw four touchdown passes, including a 67-yarder, and then ran in a fifth to lead Marist past Campbell in a 55-28 rout.
Marist (7-3, 6-1 Pioneer) piled up 487 yards of offense, with Atiq Lucas rushing for 174 yards and three TDs and Bartley Leneghan catching five passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns.
Marist took the lead on its opening drive and never relinquished it, marching 69 yards in eight plays to set up Lucas for a TD that he punched in from the 10. The win keeps the Red Foxes atop the Pioneer League.
Campbell (2-8, 1-6) got a big game from Brian Hudson, who passed for 340 yards and three touchdowns, including a 71-yard TD strike to Jordan Hildreth and a 74-yarder to Ben Bolling. The Fighting Camels got their first league win of the season last week against Stetson.
