Charleston (4-6) outscored the Red Foxes 34-26 in the second half, closing the margin to 60-58 on an Anthony Thomas tip-in with 3:43 left, but couldn't take away the lead.

Willis Hall led the Cougars with a game-high 19 points and 11 rebounds.
