Magic sign Osby, four others

The Orlando Magic signed rookie forward Romero Osby, the team announced Friday.
Osby, the Magic's second round draft pick in June, started 63 career games over two seasons at Oklahoma, averaging 14.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game while shooting 50.9 percent. He also played two seasons at Mississippi State, averaging 4.2 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.
The team also signed free agents Mickell Gladness (Alabama A&M), Manny Harris (Michigan), Solomon Jones (South Florida) and Kris Joseph (Syracuse). The roster is at 19 players.
