Update: Visnovsky (suspension) could report to the Islanders in two to three weeks, according to Newsday.
Recommendation: Visnovsky has finally stated that the reason he isn't reporting is because of an illness that his son has suffered. Apparently that illness will be settled in a couple of weeks and then Visnovsky would report to the team. Visnovsky would still like to play for his KHL team during this time but the Isles feel that if they allowed this, Visnovsky may keep pushing back his return time. In other words, the Isles don't trust him. What a way for a partnership to begin. Funny thing is the Isles are so desperate for help on defense that they will welcome him with open arms if/when he does return.
