Lou Williams: Out For Season With Torn Knee Ligament

RotoWire.com Staff

Update: Williams suffered a torn ligament in his right knee and will not return this season, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Recommendation: It hasn't been specified which ligament he tore, but Williams could perhaps be in danger of missing some of the 2013-14 season as well. The Hawks will likely turn to some combination of DeShawn Stevenson (knee), John Jenkins, and Anthony Morrow (back) to take over Williams' minutes, while dealing with the reality that nobody on the roster can replace what Williams brings to the team as a sixth man and leading bench scorer.
