For the third time in three years, Detroit Lions wide receiver Ryan Broyles suffered a season-ending injury.
Head coach Jim Schwartz said Sunday in the aftermath of Detroit's mad rally to a 31-30 victory over the Dallas Cowboys that Broyles likely ruptured his Achilles tendon, an injury that would require surgery and end his 2013 season.
Broyles tore his ACL in his final season at Oklahoma and fell in the draft because of it. He was able to get back on the field as a rookie in 2012 only to suffer the same injury.
