Safety Louis Delmas is staying in Detroit.
The Lions reach an agreement Friday with Delmas on a two-year, $9.465 million contract, according to multiple reports.
Delmas, 25, had visited the San Francisco 49ers and St. Louis Rams before deciding to return to Detroit, the team that drafted him in 2009. An erroneous report had Delmas signing with the 49ers on Thursday.
Knee and groin injuries have limited Delmas to 19 games the past two years after he started 30 games the previous two seasons.
