Lions offer nothing new on status of RB Best

The Detroit Lions had no new news regarding the status of running back Jahvid Best, who has not played in a calendar year because of concussion issues.

Best had more post-concussion tests last week and a decision was scheduled to be made on Monday. Instead, coach Jim Schwartz said was not aware of the test results.

"I'm really not in the loop when it comes to the decision," he said in the Detroit Free Press.

Best has been on the physically-unable-to-perform list all season but was believed to be close to returning.
