The Tampa Bay Lightning announced Monday that they signed goaltender Ben Bishop to a two-year contract extension.
Bishop is 2-3-0 with a .916 save percentage and a 3.21 goals-against average in six games with the Lightning since being acquired from the Ottawa Senators earlier this month.
In 19 games overall this season, he is 10-8-0 with a .920 save percentage, 2.68 goals-against average and has two shutouts.
For his career, Bishop is 17-16-3 with a 2.67 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage in 42 games. He was drafted in the third round by the St. Louis Blues in 2005 and made his NHL debut in the 2008-09 season.
