The Tampa Bay Lightning recalled goaltender Cedrick Desjardins from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League, the team announced Friday.
Kristers Gudlevskis was assigned to the Crunch.
Desjardins, 27, played in one game with the Crunch this season, a 4-3 overtime loss to the Binghamton Senators on October 5.
He played in two preseason games with the Lightning in 2013, recording a 3.00 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage. Desjardins appeared in three games with the Lightning last season, going 0-3-0 with a 3.00 goals-against average and .890 save percentage.
