Less than a year after his shoplifting arrest in China and subsequent decision to leave UCLA, LiAngelo Ball is apparently ready to laugh at the situation.

He stars in a new Foot Locker commercial called “One and Done,” advertising Foot Locker’s one-day only exclusive t-shirt collection.

The ad is framed as a 90s-type infomercial hosted by Youtube personality Reggie Couz, complete with a laugh track.

Couz says, “These shirts are available for just one day,” to which Ball replies, “They are one-and-done, just like me after playing overseas.” Technically, Ball didn’t actually play “one” at UCLA, as he left without ever playing a game.

Couz takes it a step further, calling the price a “steal,” drawing dramatic glares from Ball; He tries to correct his language by saying that the price is “so good it must be criminal.”

“I loved Foot Locker’s Draft commercial from last year with my brother, so I think it’s exciting that I can continue the Ball family tradition by being in this year’s campaign,” Ball told Business Insider. “The ‘One and Done’ concept is definitely something athletes and fans have been talking about a lot this season and I think it’s great that Foot Locker is able to have fun with some of the pre-Draft conversations.”

The commercial will premiere nationally on Thursday, NBA draft day, on ESPN.
