According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount have been charged with marijuana possession, while Bell is also getting charged with a DUI.

They were arrested and, on Thursday, formally charged with crimes. Ross Township Police detective Brian Kohlhepp informed PFT that Blount and Bell are both charged with marijuana possession, as was Mercedes Dollson, a 21-year-old woman who was also in the car at the time of the stop.

Bell, who was driving, has also been charged with driving under the influence of marijuana.

Both players are scheduled to play Thursday night vs. the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Pittsburgh Steelers entered the offseason with hopes of finding another complimentary running back to play behind Le'Veon Bell. They did that by signing former New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount.

Too bad both of them just got popped for marijuana possession.

According to Will Graves of the Associated Press, Bell was also charged with driving under the influence.

The Steelers drafted Bell in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He rushed 244 times for 860 yards and eight touchdowns last year.

Blount is expected to be a nice backup to Bell while also providing insurance to the Steelers in the event Bell is injured again in 2014. He missed nearly the first full month of the 2013 season after suffering a foot injury during the preseason.

For his career, Blount had rushed for 2,711 yards with 20 touchdowns and has averaged 4.7 yards per carry for his career in four NFL seasons. As a rookie, he rushed for 1,007 yards with six touchdowns for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
