Lehigh scored 14 straight points in the first half and never looked back, dominating Navy in a 71-49 win Wednesday at Annapolis, Md.
The win allowed the Mountain Hawks (15-5, 5-1) to maintain at least a share of first place in the Patriot League.
The Mountain Hawks were led by Stefan Cvrkalj's 18 points, 15 of those coming on 3-pointers. Holden Greiner had a double-double for the Mountain Hawks, contributing 12 points and 10 rebounds. Mackey McKnight also had a solid night, tallying seven points, seven assists and nine rebounds.
Will Kelly had a double-double for the Midshipmen (7-15, 1-5), with 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Worth Smith also added 11 points in a losing effort.
The Midshipmen opened by scoring eight of the game's first nine points, but the Mountain Hawks went on a 14-0 run to take a seven-point lead, building that lead to 28-18 at halftime.
The Mountain Hawks extended their lead to as many as 22 points midway through the second half.
The Mountain Hawks shot 46 percent (25 of 54) and 9 of 27 from 3-point range, while the Midshipmen continued to struggle from the field, making just 29 percent of their shots (19 of 66) and were just 3 of 23 on 3-pointers.
The Mountain Hawks outrebounded the Midshipmen 45-37.
