Miami Heat free agent LeBron James is scheduled to meet with Heat president Pat Riley Wednesday in Las Vegas, a source told Yahoo Sports.

Riley will meet with James a day before NBA free agents are able to sign contracts. James was previously scheduled to be in Las Vegas primarily for his annual Nike elite high school basketball camp that begins Wednesday. A source said the four-time NBA Most Valuable Player had a meeting with Nike and sponsors on Tuesday.

James and Heat free agent guard Dwyane Wade also dined with friends late Monday night at LAVO in Las Vegas, another source said. A source declined to say if James will meet with any other NBA teams in Las Vegas.

James’ agent Rich Paul is also expected to attend the meeting with Riley. Paul recently had discussions with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers about James.

ESPN.com first reported the meeting.
