If anyone knows sneakers, it’s one of the best NBA players on the planet.

LeBron James is reportedly developing a comedy series for HBO about the sneaker community, according to Deadline.

So rejoice, Sneakerheads! The next hottest shoe release won’t be something you have to wait in line for. Instead, the Cleveland Cavaliers star will be bringing the sneaker culture to your TV screen.

The premise is simple … what happens when two best friends open a sneaker shop near Los Angeles?

Hijinks ensue, obviously.

James is listed as an executive producer on the 30-minute untitled comedy, along with Maverick Carter’s Springhill Entertainment.

Carter is James’ manager, business partner and one of his best friends. The two have already combined forces a number of times, including executive-producing NBC’s gameshow, “The Wall.” But both are cemented in sneaker culture.

Carter — who also managed Johnny Manziel for a short period — helped seal the King’s monster Nike lifetime deal in 2015, negotiating the biggest deal in Nike history, reportedly worth more than $1 billion.

The childhood friends also know a thing or two about sneakers.

James has released 14 signature shoes with Nike, while Carter serves on the board of New York footwear and clothing designer Ronnie Fieg’s Kith.

There is no timetable set on the release date of the new sneaker comedy. But at least we don’t have to win a raffle to get our hands on the new project.
