LeBron James had another strong game, putting up 26 points on 8-13 shooting from the field (1-3 from behind the arc) and 9-10 from the free throw line. Other key performers for Miami were Chris Bosh with 22 points and 9 rebounds, and Mario Chalmers with 12 points and 6 assists. Kemba Walker had another strong game for Charlotte in the loss, putting up 27 points on 10-22 shooting (2-8 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 5-6 from the free throw line. Gerald Henderson chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds and Al Jefferson finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds.

The Heat combined an eFG% of 58.0% with 44.4% 3-point shooting. They are 7-1 this year when registering marks above 55% and 40% in those respective statistics. The Bobcats, on the other hand, are 0-1 when allowing opponents to hit those marks.

This drops Charlotte (8-10) to 0-2 versus Miami on the season.
