LaMarcus Aldridge scores 21, Trail Blazers beat Bucks

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 21 and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Milwaukee Bucks, 91-82. Portland (10-2) is now on an 8-game winning streak, dating back to a 104-91 win against Sacramento Kings on November 8th.

Aldridge finished 10-22 from the field. Damian Lillard chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds for Portland as well. Despite the loss, Luke Ridnour scored 13 points for Milwaukee on 6-14 shooting. Zaza Pachulia added 11 points and 8 rebounds and John Henson finished with 10 points and 7 rebounds.

As expected, the Bucks offense did not have its best game, struggling to score against the elite Trail Blazers defense that ranks fifth in the league with a defensive efficiency of 57.1. They registered just 0.883 points per possession in this game, and rank 27th in the NBA with an offensive efficiency of 94.6 on the season. The Bucks had 18 assists against 19 turnovers for a ratio of 0.95. This year, they are winless (0-5) when having more turnovers than assists in a game. Conversely, the Trail Blazers are 1-1 when holding their opponents below an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.00.

Milwaukee (2-8) has now lost 6 consecutive games.

Coming up next, the Trail Blazers square off with the Chicago Bulls, who are 6-4 on the year. The Bucks meet the Philadelphia 76ers, currently 5-8 this season.
