The Los Angeles Lakers will be without Kobe Byant and Steve Nash for Sunday's game against the San Antonio Spurs, but Metta World Peace is scheduled to return to the starting lineup for the game.
Bryant is out for the season with a torn Achilles tendon, and Nash will miss his seventh straight game because of his injured right hip and hamstring. The Lakers hope Nash can return for the team's regular-season finale on Wednesday against Houston.
World Peace averaged 5.0 points and 2.7 rebounds in 17.7 minutes in his three games since returning to action 12 days after undergoing surgery on his left knee. And on Sunday he will be back among the starting five.
That moves Earl Clark out of the starting lineup. Jodie Meeks is scheduled to start in Bryant's place.
The Lakers also signed Andrew Goudelock, who had been playing in the D-League.
In 51 games with Sioux Falls, Goudelock averaged 21.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.16 steals.
