Kyle Korver had a strong performance, scoring 26 points on 8-12 shooting from the field (4-4 from behind the arc) and 6-6 from the free throw line. Atlanta also got solid performances from Paul Millsap with 23 points and 8 rebounds, Jeff Teague with 14 points and 6 assists, and DeMarre Carroll with 11 points and 6 rebounds. Despite the loss, Trey Burke scored 23 points for Utah on 9-15 shooting, including 5-8 from behind the arc. Derrick Favors chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds, Gordon Hayward finished with 13 points and 8 rebounds, and Alec Burks put up 12 points and 7 rebounds.
The Hawks combined an eFG% of 57.1% with 44.8% 3-point shooting. They are 6-7 this year when registering marks above 55% and 40% in those respective statistics. The Jazz, on the other hand, are 1-10 when allowing opponents to hit those marks.
This drops Utah (22-42) to 0-2 against Atlanta on the year.
