The New York Knicks could miss a key component of their bench on Saturday night as sixth man J.R. Smith is questionable with an illness.
The Knicks visit the Indiana Pacers in Game 3 of their second round playoff series tied 1-1.
Smith's illness prevented him from participating in Saturday morning's shootaround.
Iman Shumpert, Pablo Prigioni or Chris Copeland would play a bigger role for the Knicks if Smith cannot go.
Smith averaged 12.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in the first two games of the series but on 23.3 percent (7-for-30) shooting.
