The Sacramento Kings announced Monday that they signed free agent forward Carl Landry to a multi-year contract.
Landry returns to Sacramento after playing for the Golden State Warriors last season. He averaged 10.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 81 games as a backup power forward.
"Adding Carl provides depth and veteran leadership in our frontcourt," general manager Pete D'Alessandro said in a statement. "His professionalism and workmanlike approach to the game will also serve as a great example to our younger players. We're excited to have him join the team."
Landry has averaged 11.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 24.5 minutes per game over six seasons. He has played for the Houston Rockets, Kings, New Orleans Hornets and Warriors.
