Minnesota coach Jerry Kill will not coach Saturday's game at Michigan because he had a seizure earlier in the day.
Defensive coordinator Tracy Claeys is coaching the Gophers in Kill's absence.
The school said in a statement that Kill did not travel with the team Friday because he was not feeling well. He had a seizure after that and stayed home.
Kill, who has epilepsy, has had several game-day seizures, including one at the end of the first half against Western Illinois in September.
Gophers athletic director Norwood Teague has said he fully supports Kill. The school was aware of Kill's condition when it hired him and has insisted it does not affect his ability to successfully coach the team.
