Pittsburgh (1-0) at Boston College (1-0) (ET) | CharlotteObserver.com
This marks the 30th all-time meeting between these two teams. Pittsburgh holds a 16-13 series advantage, with an even split of games played in Chestnut Hill (7-7). The Panthers have won three straight in a series that dates back to 1959. Two of those victories came in overtime decisions (2002, 2004).
ACC College Football Picks: Pittsburgh Panthers at Boston College Eagles | Maddux Sports
Boston College opened as a one point favorite, but the line quickly moved to Pitt -4. Both teams were dominant on defense and racked up a ton of rushing yards last week. Obviously, they won't put up those monster numbers against each other. I think Pittsburgh wins a close game by a field goal.

Pitt's depth, experience allows for shuffling along offensive line - Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Two days before Pitt opened its 2014 season against Delaware, offensive line coach Jim Hueber had a message for Jaryd Jones-Smith after a position meeting. Hueber told Jones-Smith, a redshirt freshman tackle, that even though he wasn't going to be in the starting five along the offensive line against the Blue Hens, he was going to play, and likely early in the game. Sure enough, on Pitt's third offensive series, Jones-Smith came in at left tackle.
