Kevin Durant's 30 leads Thunder over Hawks
Kevin Durant put up 30 points and recorded 10 rebounds to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a victory over the Atlanta Hawks, 101-92. Oklahoma City (16-4) is now on a three-game winning streak.
Durant went 9-21 (1-3 from three-point range) and 11-15 from the free throw line. Other top performers for Oklahoma City were Serge Ibaka with 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Russell Westbrook with 14 points and 11 assists. Despite the loss, Paul Millsap put up 23 points for Atlanta on 5-18 shooting (2-4 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 11-12 from the free throw line. He also tallied 12 rebounds. Jeff Teague chipped in 17 points and 6 assists and Shelvin Mack finished with 17 points and 6 assists.
Coming up, the Thunder square off with the Memphis Grizzlies, who are 10-10 on the season. The Hawks match up with the Washington Wizards, currently sitting at 9-11 this year. The Hawks are 0-1 versus Washington this season.
