Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan is moving his brother up in the organization, Yahoo! Sports reported Tuesday.
Larry Jordan will become director of player personnel with the team and work under director of basketball operations Rod Higgins and general manager Rich Cho. Jordan previously served as director of special projects.
The position was vacant for three years after Buzz Peterson left to become the head coach at Appalachian State.
The Yahoo! report also noted that two of Michael Jordan's children, Jeffrey and Jasmine, have roles with the Bobcats.
The Jordan brothers played together in high school in North Carolina.
