HOUSTON (AP) -- Terrence Jones is out for the Houston Rockets against the Portland Trail Blazers with a deep thigh bruise.

Jones scored a career-high 36 points in Houston's previous game. The second-year player was great last week, averaging a little more than 22 points in Houston's four games. Donatas Motiejunas will likely start in his place on Monday night.

Guard Pat Beverley will return on Monday night for the Rockets after missing 14 games after surgery to repair a broken right hand.
