Other top contributors for Toronto included Kyle Lowry with 13 points and 6 assists, DeMar DeRozan with 11 points and 8 rebounds, and Patrick Patterson with 10 points and 5 rebounds. Despite the loss, Luol Deng put up 16 points for Chicago on 6-15 shooting from the field and 4-5 from the free throw line. Taj Gibson contributed 12 points and 5 rebounds.
In addition to 22.2% from 3-point range, the Bulls tallied an eFG% of just 37.8%. They are 2-7 on the season when registering marks below 30% and 45%, respectively, in those statistics. The Raptors, conversely, are 1-0 when holding the opposition to such dismal shooting numbers.
This drops Chicago (12-18) to 1-2 against Toronto on the year.
