The Raptors had an impressive game shooting the ball, finishing 40-79 (50.6%) from the field, including 12-23 (52.2%) from beyond the arc. This is the third straight win for Toronto (19-17).
Valanciunas shot 5-10 from the field and 7-10 from the free throw line. Toronto also got solid performances from Kyle Lowry with 23 points and 5 assists, and DeMar DeRozan with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Ersan Ilyasova had a strong performance for Milwaukee despite the loss, scoring 29 points on 11-16 shooting, including 3-3 from behind the arc. He also added 9 rebounds. Giannis Antetokounmpo chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds.
Along with their eFG% of 58.2%, the Raptors connected at a rate of 52.2% from 3-point range. On the season, they are undefeated (2-0) when they record marks above 55% and 40% in those respective categories. Conversely, the Bucks are winless (0-5) when allowing their opponents to reach those percentages.
Milwaukee (7-30) has now lost six straight contests.
