Update: Przybilla is expected to make a decision Wednesday between signing with Miami, Chicago, Milwaukee or Portland, or remaining home with his family in Milwaukee, The Oregonian reports.
Recommendation: Przybilla would help to shore up three glaring weaknesses for Portland: rebounding, interior defense, and setting screens to create open shots for teammates. As a result, the Blazers have extended an offer to him for the remainder of the season. Since Portland has the NBA maximum 15 players on their roster, they would have to waive a player, likely second-year guard Armon Johnson, to sign Przybilla. No matter where he signs, though, it appears his knees and back are healthy enough to provide front-court depth to a team needing it.
