Joe Jonas and Girlfriend Sophie Turner Dine on Sushi and Leave Very Generous Tip

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner Spotted Getting Cozy in the Netherlands

He may have had a performance to do, but that didn’t stop Joe Jonas from catching the big game.

The DNCE vocalist and his bandmates performed at the Kiss108 JingleBall at the TD Garden on Sunday night, but as soon as their set was finished, they zipped out so Jonas could catch the New York Giants play the Dallas Cowboys. The crew, which also included Joe’s girlfriend of a couple months, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, headed to Empire Asian Restaurant & Lounge in Boston’s Seaport neighborhood around 8:45 p.m. They headed into a private dining room where a TV had been set up so Joe, a devoted Giants fan, could watch the game.

The group of about eight guests drank Bud Light and Sapporo beers, and feasted on a menu of sushi and sashimi. According to an employee, Joe and Sophie were “affectionate towards each other” and “sat with his arm around her watching the game.” The group headed out at around 11:30 p.m., right after the Giants won.

Some of the dishes the group ate include Alaskan Black Cod with a sake soy glaze, ‘BBQ’ baby bok choy, white miso, and an edamame vinaigrette, and the Empire House Maki, a whole tempura roll made with spicy tuna, cucumber, avocado, and wasabi tobikko. They also ordered egg drop soup with sweet corn, sliced chicken, white pepper, and minced scallions, as tons of Nigiri sushi.

When it was time to head out, Jonas, Turner and gang left quite an impression on the staff. “They were great to the staff and were very generous with a tip,” an employee told PEOPLE.

Joe was spotted on Monday morning heading out of the W Hotel Boston in the city’s Theater District and into a chauffeured car.
