Other top performers for Brooklyn were Andray Blatche with 21 points and 9 rebounds, Brook Lopez with 16 points and 7 rebounds, and Deron Williams with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Despite the loss, Chris Paul scored 20 points for Los Angeles on 6-13 shooting (2-3 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 6-7 from the free throw line.
The Clippers posted an eFG% of just 41.4%, including 25.0% from 3-point range. This year, they are winless (0-3) when they record marks below 45% and 30% in those respective categories. On the other hand, the Nets are undefeated (2-0) when holding their opponents to such low percentages.
