Jodie Meeks, Lakers sneak past Kings, 106-100

The Los Angeles Lakers edged the Sacramento Kings, 106-100. Los Angeles (10-9) gets one in the win column after losing to Portland on Sunday.

Jodie Meeks scored 19 points on 7-11 shooting, including 5-6 on 3-point attempts, in a quality offensive outing. Los Angeles also got solid performances from Pau Gasol with 19 points and 7 rebounds, Steve Blake with 13 points and 10 assists, and Wesley Johnson with 13 points and 5 steals. On 8-17 shooting, including 4-7 from behind the arc, Ben McLemore scored 20 points for Sacramento in the loss. Ben McLemore added 20 points and 6 rebounds and Isaiah Thomas finished with 14 points and 9 assists.

Sacramento (4-13) has now lost six straight.

Coming up, the Lakers take on the Toronto Raptors, who are 6-12 on the season. The Kings match up against the Utah Jazz, currently sitting at 4-17 this year.
